Custom Care Equine is located in Camden, South Carolina; which has a long tradition in the Thoroughbred industry. Many champions have trained here, Ruffian and Hoist the Flag just to name a few. Camden is no longer off the beaten path. Major van companies travel through on a regular basis and airlines in both Columbia SC and Charlotte NC have made Camden easily accessible.

Visitors can also enjoy Camden as a historic site, from both Revolutionary and Civil War perspectives. Reenactments are held several times a year at the historic camden site.

Besides hosting two world class steeplechase meets a year Camden has a new Horse Park that features a variety of events every weekend ranging from bull riding to 'A' horse shows.The National Steeplechase Museum presents several gallery exhibits and seminars throughout the year and also highlights the history of flat racing.
